- What’s your appetite like? If you’re a true foodie, craving gourmet meals and diverse a la carte dining, particular resorts will dazzle your palate, whereas others might leave you stuck with repetitive buffet options day after day.
- Do you have any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or special needs? Certain resorts handle these much better than others—you don’t want your dream trip sidelined by a bad reaction.
And beware—those glossy photos and glowing online reviews can be deceiving. Photoshop is real, and resorts know how to play that game. Reviews tend to cluster at extremes—either glowing praise or scathing complaints—so they don’t always tell the full story. Imagine spending a week where the only edible thing was the pizza, or your kids are bored out of their minds with zero activities. Or craving restful nights only to have a DJ blasting beats until midnight just outside your door. Sounds like a nightmare, right?
