Choosing the correct cruise line isn’t the only factor in having a great cruise. It also includes getting there and coming home. ALWAYS plan to fly into your port city at least 1 day prior to embarkation day. This way, if there are delays with your flight, you can still make your cruise.

On my cruise around Iceland, in Reykjavik, I had a private tour of the city with my very own modern-day Viking. He showed me all around the city and shared insider tips you won’t find in a brochure.
