I still remember the awe I felt when I stepped off the plane for the first time in a foreign land at the age of 24. As I wandered the lively streets of Munich wide-eyed, my senses were electrified by all there was to uncover. It dawned on me how travel has a unique power to shift our perspective and connect us to places and cultures we’d only read about in books. After that, I was hooked.
Now, after many solo journeys, group adventures with friends, and family vacations over the years, my passion for travel has only grown. That’s why I started Platinum Travel – to share this passion and bring the transformational gift of travel to others.
When my clients return from a trip, their eyes glimmer with fresh insight and understanding. By stepping out of their comfort zone, they learn something new about the world, about others, and even about themselves. Others reconnect with family and friends, strengthening relationships through shared one-of-a-kind experiences.
I recently had a client tell me “You’ve given us an opportunity to not only see the world but to bring our relationship to a whole new level as bonus daughter/ momma.” That’s when I know I’ve done my part to make the world a little smaller and closer together.
So, while the stunning sights and exotic sounds of faraway places still enchant me after all this time, what really drives my passion is people – creating eye-opening adventures for travelers while supporting hard-working, welcoming communities overseas.
The meaning of travel is unique for everyone. For some, it may mean relaxing on a beach with a good book. Others dream of exploring Machu Picchu, skiing the Swiss Alps, or sitting at a cafe in Paris indulging in croissants. Some may even aspire to cruise around the world for an entire year (yes, you really can do that!).
The possibilities in travel are incredibly diverse. Yet what these dreams often share is a yearning for new horizons, beautiful vistas, cultural connections, and experiences that shift our perspective. I am honored when clients entrust me with helping turn their travel aspirations into reality.
